What is ITIN?

ITIN stands for Individual Taxpayer Identification Number. This tax processing number is available for certain nonresident and resident aliens, their spouses, and dependents who can't get a Social Security Number. It is a nine-digit number that starts with "9" and looks like an SSN24.

How to Get a Car Loan With ITIN

If you live near Galt and only have an ITIN, you can apply for a loan or lease approval using the same standard criteria that others use with a social security number. However, for customers with an ITIN and a social security number, you must use your social security number when applying.

ITIN Program Qualifications

While we are more than able to help Manteca customers find the perfect Ford vehicle with only an ITIN, there are certain qualifications each ITIN customer much adhere to.

• ITIN Customers can only purchase New Ford Vehicles
• Must have a minimum of one year of Credit Bureau History
• Must have a minimum FICO score of 640. (No Minimum FICO required if Total Advance is Less Than 70%)
• Cannot have previously used an invalid Social Security Number
• All program qualifications apply to Buyers, Co-Buyers, and Guarantors

Required Documentation

When you arrive at our dealership, if you are using your ITIN to purchase a Ford model, we will require you to bring us several documents so we can issue you a financial plan. And all documents must be reviewed by Ford Credit before credit decisions.
